Marchesa, a supreme gown and fashion design label, has never looked better. At the 82nd Academy Awards, Sandra Bullock went with the gold twice, with dress and the trophy. The dress and designer gained exceptional recognition because of Bullock’s choice. Marchesa, being one of my favorite labels, produces art, not just fashion. It is something that you look at every day, nonetheless for one day or for a couple of hours for some lucky celebrities.
These gowns give me an eye-gasm, and usually I can tell when a dress is a Marchesa. Halle Berry works out a strapless black and gold tulle Marchesa gown on the red carpet of the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. This is absolutely my favorite gown as of now, because of the texture of silky and metallic material, the inventively colors of black and gold are astonishing, and Berry’s wonderful figure could not have made the dress look any more amazing.
Blake Lively, of Gossip Girl, wore this astonishingly beautiful eggshell blazer toThe Private Lives of Pippa Lee. The texture, once again, is something that Marchesa has mastered. It is, also, a perfect mixture of simplicity and creativity, with the bows and showing the wonderful cleavage that Ms. Lively has.
Rihanna at the 2009 American Music Awards, surely made eyes pop. With this abstract of a gown, she certainly made an impression on me, despite the fact that along with Ms. Lively and Heidi Klum, I consider her the best dressed female celebrity. Paired with a simple pair of white heels, she perfected this controversial look.
